SCHOOL COUNSELORS

School Counselors assist students at all levels, from elementary school to college. They act as advocates for students’ well-being, and as valuable resources for their educational advancement.
The mission of Agora Cyber Charter School’s Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive program that will enhance personal, social, academic and career development for all students. It is Agora Cyber Charter School counselors’ goal to focus on individual student planning and preparation to meet the unique needs of our diverse student community. Along with meeting individual needs, a main purpose of our department is to create and continually develop an effective comprehensive curriculum to support our students in their ever-changing environments. School counselors, as part of the Agora Cyber Charter School learning community, will facilitate the support system so all students have access to the tools enabling them to become responsible and productive citizens, who can effectively manage future challenges and who can progress confidently toward their personal and professional endeavors.
