Attendance
Attendance at PSSA testing is mandatory in accordance with State regulations.
- Students who do not attend their site may be required to travel to a less convenient one in order to make up the exams, so please be sure and attend the site that is best for you
- Students that do not attend their assigned or chosen site will be marked absent
- Most sites start at 9:00am or 9:30am, so please pay close attention to your site specific messaging so you can arrive on time and ready to test
- Testing generally wraps up around 1:30 pm on most days, but these are untimed tests so dismissal times can vary widely. Please keep your afternoon free.
PDE Mandated Cell Phone Policy
The Pennsylvania Dept. of Education has created a new policy regarding cell phones at PSSA testing sites. If a student brings a cell phone to the testing site, it must be checked in and kept by Agora staff. Cell phones are not allowed in the possession of the student, whether it is on their person, or in bags or other items accompanying them, during testing. It is recommended that students leave cell phones at home.
Forms
The following forms should be filled out prior to arrival at the site in order to make the sign-in process quicker and easier. All students must have an Emergency Contact and Health Info form filled out for the site. If a student in 7th or 8th grade is using public transportation or transporting themselves to the site, they must have a signed and completed Self-transport form with them prior to arrival. Any students who may need medication during the testing time must turn in a completed Self-administration of Medication form.
